A total of 1254 big daddy pizzas were sold for $9.11, with Fox's donating the entire $9.11 to the local fire companies. A total of more than $13,000 was raised. Hundreds of homes were equipped with working smoke detectors.

Smoke detectors were provided by Nationwide Insurance - The Kengersky Agency for all those in need. Thanks to the generosity & concern of such community minded businesses more than 150 homes were equipped with working smoke detectors this year.
Punxsutawney even received national press of the event at Pizzamarketplace.com and Pizza Marketing Quarterly
As a result of these "Pizza & Prevention" events more than $20,000 has been raised for the local fire departments & more than 1000 homes are equipped with working smoke detectors.
