Record Breaking Results benefit the Punxsutawney Fire Department



"The Key To Our Den" was presented to The Punxsutawney Fire Depatment

This 5th annual community event designed to promote disaster prevention & introduce you to your volunteer firemen is sponsored by :

PIZZA & PREVENTION 2005 - Saturday October 8, 2005
We enjoyed record breaking success with this year's event - THANKS Punxsutawney!

A total of 1254 big daddy pizzas were sold for $9.11, with Fox's donating the entire $9.11 to the local fire companies. A total of more than $13,000 was raised. Hundreds of homes were equipped with working smoke detectors.



Remember Your Volunteer Fireman - 2004 - Our 3rd annual event was dedicated to Tony Gianvito, who helped originate this fundraiser in 2001. It was held October 2, 2004. We were able to raise over $8200 for The local Punxsutawney Fire Departments
Smoke detectors were provided by Nationwide Insurance - The Kengersky Agency for all those in need.
Thanks to the generosity & concern of such community minded businesses more than 150 homes were equipped with working smoke detectors this year.
Punxsutawney even received national press of the event at Pizzamarketplace.com and Pizza Marketing Quarterly
As a result of these "Pizza & Prevention" events more than $20,000 has been raised for the local fire departments & more than 1000 homes are equipped with working smoke detectors.
